AI for therapy practices using THEORG: more time for treatment, less paperwork. We build AI software for therapy practices using THEORG and connect it to your treatment notes. Consulting, training for your team and ongoing operation are part of it.
When the doctor ticks the box for a therapy report on the prescription, the therapist usually writes it after hours. Our software reads the treatment notes in THEORG, summarises progress across every session and fills in the report using your template. The therapist adds her recommendation and approves it. Patient data stays under your control, on a server in your practice if you prefer.

How we bring AI into your practice with THEORG
AI audit for your practice
We look at which reports, cancellations and queries pile up alongside treatment and show where software can take the work over. €500, credited in full when you go ahead with implementation.
Pricing and AI auditWorkshop for your team
Therapists, reception and practice managers learn, on their own tasks, to use AI safely and in confidence.
WorkshopsBuild and connect the software
We build the software for your reports and queries and connect it to THEORG. Small solutions from around €2,000.
SolutionsOperation and further development
We host and maintain the software, add new report templates and are there when something gets stuck.
Custom developmentWhat the software takes over in your practice
Prepare therapy reports
The notes from every session become a draft report for the referring doctor. The therapist adds her assessment and approves it.
Bring cancellations together
Cancellations come in through TheraConnect, by email and over the phone. The software recognises when two messages mean the same appointment and offers the open slot to patients who would like to come earlier.
Check prescriptions
Once the prescription is entered in THEORG, the software checks it against the required fields. If something is missing, it drafts the query to the doctor’s practice.
Illustrative use case
A therapy report, ready to approve
-
01
The prescription ends
After his knee operation, a patient comes in for the sixth and final session on his prescription. The doctor has ticked the box for a therapy report.
-
02
The software drafts it
It reads the notes from all six sessions in THEORG, summarises mobility, pain and the exercise programme and fills in the report using your template. It flags anything the notes leave open.
-
03
The therapist approves
She reads the draft, adds her recommendation for further treatment and approves it. The report goes to the doctor’s practice, and a copy is filed with the patient in THEORG.
Patient data stays where you decide.
Your treatment notes describe diagnoses, pain and progress. You decide where our software runs, and we set it up exactly that way.
- Confidentiality in the contract: we and everyone involved commit in writing to professional secrecy. This meets the requirements of Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).
- A data processing agreement under the GDPR, signed before the software sees real data.
- Your data is never used to train AI models.
- Every access is logged. You see who opened what, and when.
Connected to THEORG
According to SOVDWAER, THEORG offers patient and prescription management with machine prescription capture, appointment scheduling, documentation with therapy reports, and billing. In the TheraConnect patient app, patients see their appointments, book and cancel. Your team keeps using these functions. Our software takes over the writing: the draft report from your notes and the queries that come up between two sessions today.

Working safely with AI: training for therapy reports
Your team practises on an entry from the treatment notes: what does the software carry into the report, what does the AI see of it, and what does the therapist decide herself? Use the switch to see how patient data stays protected.
“Patient Person 6081Rainer Vogt, born on Date 85 August 1958, following a right knee replacement. Flexion 95 degrees today, 70 degrees on admission. Has reported right calf pain when walking for two days.”
- Your server inserts placeholders
- Sent encrypted
- Cloud AI processes it
- Your server puts the names back
Only your server knows which placeholder belongs to which person.
- The notes are read
- The AI on your server works with the full notes
Nothing leaves your practice.
Carry the progress over correctly
Check the flexion from 70 to 95 degrees against the notes from the first and the last session.
Protect patient data
Recognise which details the AI only sees as placeholders. Your server puts the name and date of birth back only in the finished report.
Report the calf pain straight away
New calf pain after a knee operation can point to a thrombosis. The therapist calls the doctor at once rather than waiting for the report.
Questions about AI with THEORG
Can the software file reports directly in THEORG?
Where your THEORG installation offers an interface, the software reads the notes there and creates reports and tasks directly on the patient. Otherwise your team moves them across from a work list with one click. We check which route suits you in the AI audit, ideally together with your system support.
Can we use AI with patient data?
Yes. Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB) also applies to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, and since 2017 it has allowed you to share confidential information with service providers, as far as their work requires it and provided they are bound to confidentiality. That is exactly what we set out in the contract, together with the data processing agreement. If the software and the AI model run on a server in your practice, the data stays on your premises from start to finish.
Does anything change about our documentation?
Your team keeps documenting in THEORG as usual. The software builds the report from those notes, so nobody writes it again by hand at the end. The more complete the entries, the less the therapist has to add.
What does AI cost for a practice using THEORG?
The initial call is free. If the task is already clear, we move straight to a proposal. If a closer assessment is needed, the AI audit costs €500, fully credited towards implementation with AI Værk. Small solutions start at around €2,000. If we find no useful AI application, the audit fee is waived; previously agreed expenses remain payable. Our proposal lists setup, licences, hosting and support separately.
How many reports does your team write after hours?
In the free initial call, tell us which writing piles up alongside treatment. We will show you what the software takes over, what it costs and how it works with THEORG.
