Justus August

Justus August co-founded AI Værk and leads AI consulting, workshops and solution planning. He supports businesses from analysing their workflows to introducing AI across their teams. His experience combines client projects and AI training for businesses, public administration and education with his work on AI and digital policy at the Council of the Baltic Sea States.

Experience and background

From 2024 to 2025, Justus worked as a generative AI expert at Medieninstitut Potsdam, running workshops and automating media teams’ workflows. Since 2023, he has represented AI and digital topics in the Council of Youth Representatives of the Council of the Baltic Sea States, and has led its AI working group since 2025. He has supported Kirsch & Drechsler since early 2026. Justus speaks regularly at international conferences about AI and sovereignty in Europe.
