Learn where AI helps, using your own tasks. AI workshops for foundations: practise and use it safely.

In the AI workshop, your team practises summarising applications and preparing board papers with ChatGPT and other suitable AI tools. Together, we agree which documents may be used and how to check the results.

A good exercise also shows when a result is unusable

We practise with tasks from your everyday work, such as summarising an application, structuring a board paper or drafting a follow-up question.

Participants put the result next to the source text and see which details are missing or have changed.

How the work can look

  1. 01

    Agree tasks and prior knowledge

In a preparation call we clarify who attends, which tools are in use and what your team wants to know, then shape exercises, length and group size, with different priorities for the board than for caseworkers.

  2. 02

    Check results yourselves

Participants write prompts, compare versions and check sources. Deliberately incomplete and contradictory documents show everyone where AI makes mistakes.

  3. 03

Write down rules and next steps

Together we write down which tools are allowed, which data may go into them and who signs off results. An audit can show whether further ideas are worth it.

Format and cost agreed before we start

The workshop runs online or, by arrangement, on site. We sort out access and practice material in advance so the time together goes into practice. If staff are to set up their own assistants, we work in the approved environment and also practise who maintains them and what happens with wrong answers.

We price the workshop by learning goals, preparation, length and participants. The preparation call is free.

Questions from foundation offices

Do participants need prior knowledge?

Not for an introduction. Those further along can get their own format.

Do we work with real applicant or donor data?

Only with material and in an environment you have explicitly approved. Blacking out names is often not enough: a project description or financial details can also identify a person. For an introduction, sample documents are enough.

Is the workshop part of the audit?

No, we offer them separately, and the audit is not a prerequisite. It shows where AI pays off; the workshop teaches your team to work with it.

What should your team be able to do on its own afterwards?

Tell us who will attend, what they already know and their typical tasks. In the free preparation call we set the learning goal and format.
