More time for the matter at hand. AI for law firms, confidential from the start.
The passage you need is somewhere in the file. A colleague handled a similar matter two years ago, and their brief sits in another file. The next letter is still waiting on documents. We set up AI that helps your team with this groundwork and follows your firm’s access rules.
Three tasks to start with
Work through case files
The assistant searches approved documents in a file and cites the source for every answer, for a chronology, for example. It flags unreadable scans and missing documents.
Find the firm’s knowledge
Practice notes, approved templates and guidance become searchable, with source and version. You decide what may be used across matters; other clients’ files stay excluded.
Prepare correspondence
A template and the matter details produce a draft, such as a request for documents, which the responsible lawyer checks before it leaves the firm.
Client data stays in an environment you choose
We start with the data flow: where your files are stored, who may open them and what the model will process.
Then we decide with you whether the AI runs on your own servers or with an ISO 27001-certified hosting partner.
In a hybrid setup, a cloud model only receives content you have cleared; removing names is not enough if the facts identify the person. Professional confidentiality and data protection are part of the technical plan: access rights, logging, deletion, maintenance access and providers.
Start with one manageable workflow
-
Pick one specific task
We choose a frequent search or drafting task and estimate its effort and the checking that remains with AI. Then you know whether implementation pays off.
-
Test with suitable documents
With a defined set of documents, we deliberately test the hard cases: missing sources, conflicting documents and questions the collection cannot answer.
-
Bring it into daily practice
We set up permissions, train your team on real tasks and agree who checks results. Ongoing support is available as an option.
Practice software, proposal and AI audit
First we check the interfaces and exports of your practice software.
We only connect to case management where possible and useful; an approved document collection is often enough to begin.
Before development, you receive a proposal including hardware, hosting and any model costs. The AI audit is a starting point: fully credited if you implement with AI Værk, otherwise €500, and waived apart from agreed expenses if we find no worthwhile use for AI.

- Waived

Questions about AI in your firm
Can the system research legal sources reliably?
Internal search only finds what is in your collection; external legal databases need their own access and integration. Your team checks citations and conclusions.
Do we need a large AI server?
That depends on the tasks, the models and simultaneous users. We assess your needs before you buy hardware; a compact local installation or a dedicated server may be enough.
Is it worth it for a small firm?
That depends on how often the task comes up and how much work it takes. If preparing documents and checking results cost more time than the AI saves, we advise against it.
Which groundwork ties up your firm?
Describe the workflow in a free first call. We do not need confidential client documents for that.
