Can the software create appointments directly in DS-WIN?
Where your DS-WIN installation offers an interface, we create suggested appointments and tasks directly in it. Otherwise your team moves them across from a work list with one click. We check which route suits you in the AI audit, ideally together with your system support.
Can we use AI with patient data?
Yes. Since 2017, Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB) has allowed dentists, like all professionals bound by secrecy, to share confidential information with service providers, as far as their work requires it and provided they are bound to confidentiality. That is exactly what we set out in the contract, together with the data processing agreement. If the software and the AI model run on a server in your practice, the data stays on your premises from start to finish.
We already use online booking. Is this still worth it?
OTM stays in place for patients who book online. Many still get in touch by email, phone or form, especially when they cancel at short notice. Those are exactly the messages our software handles, refilling the slots that open up.
What does AI cost for a practice using DS-WIN?
The initial call is free. If the task is already clear, we move straight to a proposal. If a closer assessment is needed, the AI audit costs €500, fully credited towards implementation with AI Værk. Small solutions start at around €2,000. If we find no useful AI application, the audit fee is waived; previously agreed expenses remain payable. Our proposal lists setup, licences, hosting and support separately.
