AI for your joinery: more time in the workshop, less time at the desk. We work out with you where AI takes work off your office, your designers and your workshop, train your team and build the solution, connected to Palette CAD, imos iX, OSD and your other software.
Meeting notes, measurement sketches, change requests by email, order confirmations from board suppliers: a joinery spends a lot of time on paper before the first panel is cut. AI Værk works with you from the first call to a solution in daily use. Customer data and your costing stay under your control, on a server in your business if you prefer.

How we work with your joinery
AI audit for your business
We go through site measurements, quote and order on a real job with you and show where AI genuinely saves time. €500, credited in full when you go ahead with implementation.
Pricing and AI auditWorkshop for your team
Office staff, designers and workshop managers learn, on their own jobs, to use AI safely. A good place to start, even without new software.
WorkshopsBuilding AI into your routines
We automate design briefs, quotes and order checks and connect them to your design and business software. Small solutions from around €2,000.
SolutionsCustom software and operation
Where standard software falls short, we build an application for your joinery and take care of hosting and maintenance.
Custom developmentWhere AI takes work off your joinery
The customer’s wishes as a design brief
From meeting notes, site measurements and photos, the software writes the brief for your designer: dimensions, timber, finish, fittings. Anything still open is listed as a question.
Quotes from your design
From the parts list of your design, the software builds the draft quote with your hourly rates and material prices. Your office checks it and sends it.
Check supplier confirmations
When the order confirmation arrives from the board supplier or the hardware supplier, the software compares it with your order and flags different quantities, decors and dates.
Illustrative use case
From the first meeting to a quote for a fitted wardrobe
-
01
Meeting and measurements
A customer wants a fitted wardrobe under the sloping ceiling, oak veneer with handleless fronts. Your master joiner measures up: 3.20 m wide, knee wall 85 cm. He dictates everything after the visit.
-
02
A brief for the design
The software creates the project and writes the design brief with dimensions, materials and photos. One question is still open: push-to-open or a handle rail? It goes to the customer by email.
-
03
A quote from the design
Your designer draws the wardrobe. His parts list becomes the draft quote with your prices. Your office checks it and sends it within the same week.
Customer data and costing stay where you decide.
Floor plans, customer addresses and your prices belong to your business. You decide where the software runs, and we set it up that way.
- A data processing agreement under the GDPR, signed before the software sees real data.
- Your customer data and your costing are never used to train AI models.
- Every access is logged. You see who opened what, and when.
Connected to your design and business software
Design and production data stay in your design software. Our software works before and after it: it prepares the brief and turns the result into the quote and the order check. Where your software offers an interface or an import route, we pass everything straight to it, otherwise with one click from a work list.

Working safely with AI: training for your office and designers
Your team practises on a change request that arrives in the middle of the design: what does the software take over, what does the AI see of it, and what does the designer decide? The switch shows how customer data stays protected.
“Hello, we’d prefer the kitchen fronts in oak instead of walnut after all. Has the timber been ordered yet? Fitting could start from 20 May. Best wishes, Person 5126Martina Vogel, Address 3318Hafenstraße 22, Kappeln”
- Your server inserts placeholders
- Sent encrypted
- Cloud AI processes it
- Your server puts the names back
Only your server knows which placeholder belongs to which person.
- Message arrives
- The AI on your server works with the full message
Nothing leaves your business.
Take on the change
Enter the new timber in the design brief and let the designer know before he carries on drawing.
Check the order
Check whether boards for the fronts are already on order and adjust the order with the supplier.
Record the fitting date
Pass the customer’s preferred dates to the workshop manager. He plans production and fitting and confirms.
Questions before getting started
Does the AI design our furniture?
Your designer keeps creating the design and production data in Palette CAD, imos iX or your other program. Our software makes sure he gets a complete brief and turns his result into the quote.
Does it work with our business software?
Where your software offers an interface or an import route, we pass projects and draft quotes straight to it, otherwise with one click from a work list. We settle which route suits you in the initial call.
What does getting started cost?
The initial call is free. If the task is already clear, we move straight to a proposal. If a closer assessment is needed, the AI audit costs €500, fully credited towards implementation with AI Værk. Small solutions start at around €2,000. If we find no useful AI application, the audit fee is waived; previously agreed expenses remain payable. Our proposal lists setup, licences, hosting and support separately.
Is it worthwhile for a small joinery?
Often even more so, because the master joiner writes up measurements, design and quote himself, usually in the evening. In the AI audit we do the maths with your own figures. If it does not pay off, we tell you plainly.
Who supports implementation?
You work directly with us, the founders. Justus handles consulting, design and training; Elias is responsible for development, integration and ongoing operation. We are happy to work with your internal IT team or IT service provider.
How long does a customer wait for your quote?
In the free initial call, tell us how a job runs from the first meeting to the order. We will show you where AI helps, what it costs and how it works with your design software.
