Process balance confirmations
The software reads the replies that come back by post and email, compares each confirmed balance with the client’s balance list and enters the result in the working paper. Your team sees differences at a glance.
Keep the request list up to date
The software matches files in the data room to the right line on your request list. Whatever is still missing goes into a reminder to the client, which your team sends.
Prepare sample testing
For each item in the sample, the software finds the invoice and delivery note and enters date, amount and service period in the working paper. Your team judges whether the item holds up.

The replies come in
To audit receivables, you have written to 60 of the client’s customers. The replies arrive as letters, PDFs and emails over three weeks.

On your firm’s server, it reads each confirmed balance, compares it with the client’s balance list and reports three differences and seven missing replies.

The results are in the working paper, and the second request to the customers who have not replied is ready. Your team resolves the differences and decides on further audit procedures.

As a German public auditor you are bound to secrecy under § 43 WPO, the Public Accountant Act. So you decide where the software runs, and we set it up exactly that way.
- Confidentiality in the contract: we and everyone working with us commit in text form to professional secrecy, as required by § 50a WPO and Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).
- A data processing agreement under the GDPR, signed before the software sees real data.
- Your data is never used to train AI models.
- Every access is logged. You see who opened what, and when.

Questions before getting started
Can we use AI with client data?
Yes. § 50a WPO allows you to bring in service providers, provided they commit to secrecy in text form. That is exactly what we set out in the contract, together with the data processing agreement. If the software runs on a server in your firm, the data stays on your premises from start to finish.
Does it work with Caseware or DATEV?
Yes. Where your audit software offers an interface or an import route, we pass results straight to your working papers, for example in DATEV Abschlussprüfung comfort. Otherwise your team moves them across from a work list. We check which route suits your firm in the AI audit.
Who decides whether the evidence is sufficient?
Your audit team. The software collects, matches and enters. Whether the evidence is sufficient and which procedure follows is your call.
What does getting started cost?
The initial call is free. If the task is already clear, we move straight to a proposal. If a closer assessment is needed, the AI audit costs €500, fully credited towards implementation with AI Værk. Small solutions start at around €2,000. If we find no useful AI application, the audit fee is waived; previously agreed expenses remain payable. Our proposal lists setup, licences, hosting and support separately.
Who supports implementation?
You work directly with us, the founders. Justus handles consulting, design and training; Elias is responsible for development, integration and ongoing operation. We are happy to work with your internal IT team or IT service provider.
