Lab results and doctors’ letters land in the right patient record in CGM ALBIS. We build AI software for practices using CGM ALBIS and connect it to your incoming documents. Consulting, training for your team and ongoing operation are part of it.
Lab results, doctors’ letters and discharge reports arrive by fax, email or as PDFs. Our software reads the name and date of birth, finds the patient in CGM ALBIS and files the document in her record. The doctor sees new results on her to-do list. Patient data stays under your control, on a server in your practice if you prefer.
How we bring AI into your practice with CGM ALBIS
AI audit for your incoming documents
We look at how results, letters and requests reach your practice today and show where software can take the work over. €500, credited in full when you go ahead with implementation.
Pricing and AI auditWorkshop for your team
Medical assistants and practice managers learn, on their own tasks, to use AI safely and in confidence. A good place to start, even without new software.
WorkshopsBuild and connect the software
We build the software for your incoming results and connect it to CGM ALBIS. Small solutions from around €2,000.
SolutionsOperation and further development
We host and maintain the software, adapt it when your routines change and are there when something gets stuck.

A faxed lab result, filed in the right record
-
01
The result comes in
At 4 pm the lab faxes a result for Martin Sommer. CGM ALBIS holds two patients with that name.
-
02
The software matches it
It reads the date of birth on the result, finds the right Martin Sommer and files the document in his record. If the date of birth is missing, it asks your team.
-
03
The doctor sees it straight away
The new lab result appears on her to-do list. She assesses the values and decides whether the practice calls the patient.
What the software takes over in your practice
File results and doctors’ letters
Whatever arrives by fax, email or as a PDF ends up in the right record. The software recognises the sender, the type of document and the patient.
Prepare repeat prescriptions
A request from the contact form, email or answerphone becomes a prescription task with the last prescription attached. The doctor signs.
Sort appointment requests
The software sorts emails asking for an appointment by concern and suggests the right appointment type. Your team confirms.
Lab results stay where you decide.
Results and doctors’ letters are among the most sensitive data in your practice. You decide where our software runs, and we set it up exactly that way.
- Confidentiality in the contract: we and everyone involved commit in writing to professional secrecy, as required by Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).
- A data processing agreement under the GDPR, signed before the software sees real data.
- Your data is never used to train AI models.
- Every access is logged. You see who opened what, and when.
Connected to CGM ALBIS
CGM ALBIS.ANSICHT supports document handling including scanning and doctors’ letters, and CGM PRAXISARCHIV is available as an additional archive. ALBIS also offers to-do lists and, with the optional DokuAssistent, its own documentation aid. Your team keeps using these functions. Our software makes sure every incoming document gets there.

Working safely with AI: training for incoming results
Your team practises on a fax as it arrives every day: what does the software read from it, what does the AI see, and what does the doctor decide? Use the switch to see how patient data stays protected.
“Labor Nord, result of 13 October for Person 2210Martin Sommer, born on Date 714 February 1982. Potassium 6.1 mmol/l, above the reference range. Please send a new sample for a repeat test.”
- Your server inserts placeholders
- Sent encrypted
- Cloud AI processes it
- Your server puts the names back
Only your server knows which placeholder belongs to which person.
- Message arrives
- The AI on your server works with the full message
Nothing leaves your practice.
Match the patient without doubt
Compare name and date of birth with the record. The AI only sees placeholders; your server knows the real person.
Pass on the abnormal value
Show the marked value to the doctor straight away. She assesses it and decides about the call.
Turn the lab’s request into a task
Recognise the request for a new sample as a separate task for the medical assistant, with an appointment for the blood test.
Questions about AI with CGM ALBIS
Can the software file documents directly in CGM ALBIS?
Where your ALBIS installation offers an interface, we create documents and tasks directly in it. Otherwise your team moves them across from a work list with one click. We check which route suits you in the AI audit, ideally together with your system support.
Can we use AI with patient data?
Yes. Since 2017, Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB) has allowed you to bring in service providers, provided they are bound to confidentiality. That is exactly what we set out in the contract, together with the data processing agreement. If the software runs on a server in your practice, the data stays on your premises from start to finish.
Do we still need the DokuAssistent?
The DokuAssistent helps with documentation in ALBIS. Our software looks after what happens before that: results, letters and requests reaching the right record. If you use it, it stays part of your daily work.
What does AI cost for a practice using CGM ALBIS?
The initial call is free. If the task is already clear, we move straight to a proposal. If a closer assessment is needed, the AI audit costs €500, fully credited towards implementation with AI Værk. Small solutions start at around €2,000. If we find no useful AI application, the audit fee is waived; previously agreed expenses remain payable. Our proposal lists setup, licences, hosting and support separately.
How many results does your reception sort every day?
In the free initial call, tell us how faxes, letters and requests reach your practice. We will show you what the software takes over, what it costs and how it works with CGM ALBIS.
